"Thank
you for listing "Pinelands...The Legacy Continues". We have
received many headshots, approximately 50-60 daily."

" It is a blessing to
have a service like this to enhance the industry, otherwise where would we find great
talent."
Ms. Billie Fontanez, Director for the film, "One Nation Under God"
"This is a great site! I cast voice and
on-camera talent for commercials all the time and this kind of service will be very
useful. This will be the future of casting."
David Walton, Director/Producer - WJZ-TV
"I am looking forward to making use of your
site to cast productions as the need arises. This is really going to cut down on the time
that it takes me to cast a project. Thank you."
Arthur Bugg, President - Choice Video
Larry Sheingorn used the Future Casting 2000
web site to find talent for his 2 productions (Grins and 45 Questions) and had this to
say:
"You
have got to be the wave of the future. Now, I think, the problem is that many people are
not familiar with the web and its power. But as more talent learns about it, and more
producers start to use it, there shouldn't be any other way. Especially if you have the
space to put JPEG and MPEG files on the site. THANKS again for your help! Keep up
the great job!!" Larry Sheingorn

"I just wanted to thank you
for the really great site that you have! My daughter, Brittany Davis, attended one of the
auditions that you had listed on your site (teen actors wanted for "Teen Escape"
in Virginia) and was cast as one of the lead characters. This is truly a wonderful site.
Thanks for all the great information!"

"Thank you for the
wonderful ecard! I want you to know that I have thoroughly enjoyed your auditions page and
have utilized it well. I actually found my current manager through your latest posting!
All the posts on your board are very professional and that is RARE! Even a Star Wars
casting call was on your board
... something I haven't seen anywhere else on the net ... not even at the Star Wars site.
So congratulations on a job well done and I wish you the best of luck in the new
year!"

"Dear Tony,
Thank you for your advice. Even though I know you are not a talent agency, I look to your
web site for helpful insight and advice. I will come to Los Angelos and one day you will
see me in the spotlight, at least some sort of spot light. And I will give my thanks to
you for getting back to me so quickly and with advice that gave me the push that I needed.
Anytime you have any advice for me my computer ears will be open to it. Thank you again
and hope to hear from you again.
Sincerely,
Catherine ( LACHICK@compuserve.com)"
We provided casting director Suzzane Skinner with information about the
Casting Society of America (CSA) and she had these nice words to say about us:
" Wow! Tony, you are
really great at this! I've never gotten a reply this quickly from any company, regardless
of the subject! I hope they recognize and appreciate your skill! Thanks for all of the
wonderful information and interest regarding my question. I will contact them [CSA] again
on the site you listed. I hope I will get a quicker response w/ that address. Again,
thanks for being such a great resource for me!"

getting the newsletter - and it's EXCELLENT! I have heeded much of the sagacious advice.
I'm switching my internet provider next month, but will re-subscribe to the newsletter as
soon as I switch over. And it's been a great year - just finished two national TV shows,
several movies, some local commercials and of course my regular stage shows."

"Hello, I just had to tell you what a
fantastic site you have. I have been a "stage mom" for a little over a year now,
and it has taken me one year of scratching and digging and searching and "mistake
making" to learn all that your site contains. I wish I had found it earlier. Please
send me an application to list my daughter (age 10 with your site). You have my address on
your newsletter mailing list.Thanks."

"Hi, my name is Podessa and my friend Judith
referred your website to me. Both of us are into acting. I am interested in signing onto
your website to get my headshots and resume seen by agents. At the moment I entered your
website, I had to go through all the details, newsletters and everything. I received a lot
of info I didn't know and I thank you and your website for enlightening me. I hope my
career soars because it is my dream. Some do it for the money, others the fame, for me
it's satisfaction for my soul. Thank you."

"Dear Future Casting 2000:
I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your publication! What a
great resource for actors, crew and others who want to work in or are just want to know
more about the "ins and outs" of the acting industry. And its pretty amazing to
me that we can get this information free of charge when others have attempted to provide
similar information and charged for it! A friend of mine told me about your publication
and I pass along the word whenever I can to other actors who are looking for information
about casting, jobs or the industry in general.
The last couple of newsletters (October 1999 and November 1999) in particular
have resonated with me. I am definitely "working against type." Although I have
been involved in performing almost all my life, I got involved in the acting part of the
business very late -- in my thirties, after college, law school and being firmly
entrenched in a full-time day job. So believe me, there are times when I feel that I am
truly swimming upstream against outdated perceptions about "looks" and who can
best "deliver." However, I have gotten some wonderful opportunities in this
business and my goal is to move from being a full-time day job person to being a full-time
actor. With perserverance, hope and a lot of hard work, I have every expectation that my
dream will come true.
It helps a lot when I see newsletters such as the recent ones about the
potential for being someone's right type, no matter what you look like. The article about
being a one person business was also very helpful. I do think of myself as a business,
with marketing assignments, financial and time management issues and professional
development priorities. As far as I am concerned, I have TWO full-time jobs. My full-time
day job and my full-time acting job. When I'm not working as an actor, I still have work
to do. I have to look for ways to maximize audition opportunities through better marketing
and I have to look for classes that will help me get to where I want to go. It is hard,
sometimes, to find the energy I feel I need to work on acting as much as I want. It's a
constant struggle against day-time demands. So its good to get a little encouragement.
Anyway, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the quality of your publication, the
newsletters and especially for the audition notices. Please keep up the good work!!"
