You are going to be entering a very demanding field. I would suggest that you take a number of business courses like: Accounting, Economics, and Marketing. These will help you with any business that you may venture into.

As an agent, you will have to get clients who want you to help them get the talent for a particular production. Therefore, you will have to get talent to list with you so that you can always have that talent available to get the job done for your clients.

It is also very important to get to work at an agency. If you can get a paid position GREAT! The chances are slim without experience,but you should get in somewhere, even if you have to intern or volunteer. This practical experience will be invaluable.
